I retired from professional trumpet performance in late 2008 to start a family and study elementary education, but I continue to cherish my love and joy for music. Music continues to have a powerful presence in my family and we play or listen to music together often and I will still seize an opportunity to play trumpet for wedding ceremonies or special events.
